Soul Doula

Caitlin Sutherland, Doula

About Me

Hey, my name is Caitlin, 26, from Brooklyn, NY. I graduated in 2020 from Smith College with a major in sociology and minor in studio art. I am the daughter of Caribbean parents from Jamaica and Barbados. I am the oldest of four and have a handsome nephew.

I became a doula in 2018 and completely fell in love with it. I was originally trained by a Smith College Alumni then trained by the amazing Glow Maven. I am trained as a birth and postpartum doula. I want to go back to school to become a midwife so I can deliver babies myself.

My goal is to help and guide you through this beautiful experience before, during, and after your baby is born. I am here for you to ask all the questions you don’t get time to ask at the doctors'. We are a team and I want to make sure you are equipped with all the resources and education to have a safe and healthy experience. I can’t wait to meet you and teach you all the amazing things you are capable of!
